This six week training & certification course will give you the knowledge and confidence to humbly serve women and their families through one of the most pivotal periods of life.
The Doula Support Specialist training and certification program promises a total of 30 instructional hours broken down into six individual sessions. Each session will dive deeply into the herstory of doula care, the birthing process & physiology, lactation, communication and comfort measures. With additional topics such as nutrition, fitness, emotional wellness and safety, as well as risk management, personalized vs industrialized care, community resources, billing and how to run a successful doula business overall, on top of extensive support navigating the Medi-Cal approval process, a rewarding career of service is only six weeks away.
